Frequently Asked Questions

What are your rates?

For 50-minute sessions, I charge up to $150. For 90-minute sessions I charge $175. It is your decision which length of session would better suit your needs.

In-person or telehealth?

I provide both telehealth and in-person sessions. In-person sessions are on Wednesdays near the Alderwood Mall.

Who do you see?

I primarily work with individuals 18+ who struggle with anxiety, depression, or have experienced trauma

Do you take insurance?

I am currently an in-network provider for Premera Blue Cross and First Choice. For all other insurance companies, I am an out of network provider. Please call the number on the back of your insurance card to learn more about your benefits. If you qualify for out of network coverage, I can provide you with a superbill for you to submit to your insurance company. Often times, they will reimburse you a percentage of the full rate. Payment will be required at the time of session.

Do you offer sliding scale services?

I offer limited sliding scale spots on a case by case basis. Please reach out if you are experiencing financial difficulties or are a college student or recent graduate.

How do I pay for sessions?

If you choose to make an initial appointment, there is a credit card authorization form included in the paperwork. Your card will be charged at the time of session.

How many sessions do I need?

Each client's story and needs are unique so it depends. We will decide if weekly or bi-weekly appointments are most fitting for your case. We will have open communication about your progress in therapy, and ultimately you have the freedom to decide when you feel ready to pause.

Can we meet if I'm not in Washington state?

Unfortunately, due to Washington state laws around counseling, the state requires counselors licensed in the state to only meet with clients who themselves are physically located in the state.
